JI condemns verdict against Dr Aafia |

Karachi -- The Jamaat-e-Islami observed a countrywide day of condemnation against the continuing bomb blasts and the judgment of a US court against Dr Afia Siddiqui.
Addressing a protest rally outside the Karachi Press Club on Sunday, Asadullah Bhutto said that the decision of the US jury against Dr Afia Sidduqi proved that the US was not ready to give justice to the Muslims and its partial decision against a Muslim women exposed its claim of being the champion of human rights and women rights totally hollow.
The speakers said that two incidents within a span of 40 days against the worshippers of Hazrat Immam Hussain also showed that certain forces were trying to divide the Shias and Sunnis but they warned all those people who tried to hatch conspiracies of dire consequences
They criticised the government for being busy in core committee meetings and planning for the local bodies elections and being least bothered about the killing of humanity which exposed their lust for power.
The central leader of the Shia Ulema Council, Syed Ali Mohammed Taqvi, speaking on the occasion, said that the real enemies of Pakistan were US and Israel who wanted.
